Making: Super Mario Perler Characters and More
When I tackled making these perler characters I was thinking of making them into magnetic objects to one day stick them onto a metal surface for any future kids to play with, but they ended up being used for props for my photobooth. They are fun, and pretty neat to look at. I thought I had more "in the making of" process documented but reviewing my photos, I clearly did not.
For those who don't know what pearler beads are, they are little plastic fusible beads that you slot onto a pegboard tray in whichever pattern/design you like before applying a heat to it via an iron, melting them a little to fuse them. They are made from food-grade plastics and don't contain any harmful chemicals.
